An Easy way to make a quick Shepard's Pie

This recipe is very easy and you can add what you like the most....
I will either use a left over roast, be sure to slice it up

Or I like canned roast beef and I will use at least 2 cans.
throw in mixed veggies of your choice..
sometimes I throw green beans, peas, chopped carrots, celery, onions, mushrooms (yummy)
You can buy mixed frozen veggies and toss them and the meat into a greased baking dish or a large cast iron frying pan as I have done. In the picture below is a slice of the Shepard's pie.
Use 2 small cans of beef gravy and about 1/2 cup water mix the veggies, meat all together in a large bowl add the water and gravy mix more, pour into your greased frying pan or baking dish.

Now in another mixing bowl add 2 packets of instant mashed potatoes. What is so fun about this is you can use a variety of different kinds of instant mashed potatoes, I happen to like the instant potatoes that come in single packets.
Mix up the 2 packets just as the directions say.... add
the milk and hot water, butter into your mixing bowl. Mix now spread the potatoes over the beef mixture. Add a slice of butter to the top and bake in the over until the potatoes start to brown just a little. Bake 350 for 20-30 min depending on your oven.
