The Snow Storm in The Oregon Coastal Mountains

About a few days back I got to ride in the log truck and every now then I get to take winter pictures! So today I am sharing some winter pictures on the Oregon coast for 2013.  Some pictures were taken where normal cars can't or aren't allowed to go.  It was a beautiful day and I love that there was about 3 inches of snow that day because snow does not stay around long and so as I have been writing this the snow is now all gone! But it was wonderful while it lasted.

Nothing Butt Snowmen, my Latest Creations

I just had so much fun creating these small decor snowmen!  The design of them is so simple I just cut out some figure eights from quilting batting and filled them with fiber fill then I did some soft sculpting for their butts!  I also rolled them in some cinnamon and used a bit of powdered blush.   I have to go find some sticks for their arms and this will finish them.  The fabric for the dresses is cotton fabrics and I hot glued some floral picks onto them and I hand sewed the black small beads for eyes in doing some more sculpting and adding some black acrylic paint for the mouths and eye lashes.  One is about 6 inches and the other about 4 inches tall.  I did all the hand sewing with a heavy quilt thread and the same for sculpting the butts and facial features.  Oh yes I almost forgot, I added a bit of hot glue to the head decor or the pine needles because I thought it looked frozen, what do you think?
Holly cow it is nice again to be able to blog and upload pictures, I figured out the problem and it was explorer and my Norton security messing my computer up so I went and got Google Chrome and it's working just fine now so I can start posting away again.
