Part II of the Making of Primitive Easter Rabbits

These are the rabbits after the staining has dried and what I am doing here is painting some cute little flowers onto the rabbit with oil based acrylics.
In this photo I am sewing the two from pieces and the two backs, leaving an opening in order to turn and stuff the rabbits. The second photo is another picture of the opening in the back. In sewing I am sewing about 1/4 of a inch in from the sides.
I have now stuffed the tiny rabbit with fiber fill and I am about to paint the facial features with the acrylic oil based paints. These guys are so much fun to make, each one comes out looking different from the other. At the top is the rabbit finished, I am about to add them to the Etsy store Mapela's Rag Cloth Dolls and Animals. I am going to come up with the pattern and instructions to make these sweet little guys and have patterns you send for through the mail. I hope you all enjoyed watching the start to finish of this fun craft rabbit making project.
