I just finished this 16 inch rag cloth doll using felt and I am busy designing a free patter for you all! I was working on it and Poppy was giving me a helping hand.  I also will a video tutorial on how to make this little doll and I plan on post it on my YouTube channel.  So in a few more days I will have a tab where you can download this pattern for the Little ladybug doll.

Am Idea for a Wall hanging Quilt my art, my camera and soon some fabric

Good late Saturday afternoon to all! I just love messing around with my drawing ability, camera and photo overlays.  In the first one I created my very own fall scene using water color paper and my acrylic maker paints then I took some pictures of the completed art work and and some overlays, just has enhancing the colors and making it sharper I also added a water color over lay and loved how it turned out!! so I am planning on printing this on some jet ink fabric and making a fall wall hanging quilt!
In the pictures below I did everything almost similar but in the last photo the overlay is negative and I love how it turned out so it will be a very color Halloween quilt in the coming days.  I just love my Smart photo editor!  There are so many ideas running wildly through my mind on all that I can do and lots of ideas are quilting ideas! because I love to quilt!  I have done a few more drawings up and I will be sharing those with you too, they are fall scenes also and I plan winter and spring.  I will share step by step how each of these will come along and turn out!

Finished Wall hanging Bird Quilts for Wednesday July 31st 2013

Good morning to everyone! I wanted to share a couple of wall hanging quilts that I have just finished.  The first at the top is from one of my own photos that I took of some Arctic Terns that we get here on the Oregon coast.  I took the photograph and did some overlays, one was my favorite which is a watercolor overlay.  Then I printed the photo on some ink jet fabric to print on and did an iron on transfer.  Next I found some great cotton quilting fat quarters to use for the quilt.  Blues were the colors I picked for this quilt and some pretty stitching to go along.  I designed how I wanted the quilt to look with no patterns and I love how the quilt came out.
In the second photo is a primitive wall hanging quilt, once again I used the ink jet fabric accept the crow was not an iron, instead I used the sew in printed fabric and I like it better than the iron on.  The crow was a graphic I found on line for free and I used cinnamon, coffee and vanilla for staining the printed out crow.  I let the staining just by picking the fabric and moving around and let it just air dry.  I added a bit of oil pastel to the top and on the crow to give it a bit more grubby look.  Both quilts are back with quilting batting and contrasting fabric.  I added buttons to both quits and I hand sew them on using quilting thread.  I pulled tabs off of soda cans to hand sew on the back of quilts for hanging.  I have lots of fun creating both quilts and I am planing doing some more quilts up.  So I have been trying to stay busy keeping my mind off of the hive outbreaks and trying to get the blood sugar levels back down, funny how quilting will take your mind off all the troubles!  I almost forgot to tell you where I got everything at Joann's the quilt quarters, buttons thread, batting and the jet ink fabrics, I also have each quilt a tiny personal touch by signing them.  In  a couple days I will share pictures of a doll/dolls I have been creating.

Sharing a video about crafting on some Plastic Cutting Boards for cute home decor

It has been a long while and I am truly sorry, I have just had a real battle with hives and way high blood sugar.  I think I have lost some hearing in one ear and I am headed back in to doctor to find out how bad.  While I have been away I have been crafting and this is one of my recent creations.  I hope you all will watch and try this! its a fun way to create decor for the holidays.

Working on my Photos

Happy Mothers Day to everyone!!
I have been busy playing around in the wonderful weather we have been having here on the Oregon coast.  One of the things I have been playing with is my camera and and photo shop.  I have also decided to try my hand at selling some of my photos in my store It's Just Frankly Kute on Etsy.
I just love playing with the overlays and creating some different stuff with my pictures.   I just could not stand it and thought I show off a bit of my work!
