In the second photo is a primitive wall hanging quilt, once again I used the ink jet fabric accept the crow was not an iron, instead I used the sew in printed fabric and I like it better than the iron on. The crow was a graphic I found on line for free and I used cinnamon, coffee and vanilla for staining the printed out crow. I let the staining just by picking the fabric and moving around and let it just air dry. I added a bit of oil pastel to the top and on the crow to give it a bit more grubby look. Both quilts are back with quilting batting and contrasting fabric. I added buttons to both quits and I hand sew them on using quilting thread. I pulled tabs off of soda cans to hand sew on the back of quilts for hanging. I have lots of fun creating both quilts and I am planing doing some more quilts up. So I have been trying to stay busy keeping my mind off of the hive outbreaks and trying to get the blood sugar levels back down, funny how quilting will take your mind off all the troubles! I almost forgot to tell you where I got everything at Joann's the quilt quarters, buttons thread, batting and the jet ink fabrics, I also have each quilt a tiny personal touch by signing them. In a couple days I will share pictures of a doll/dolls I have been creating.
Howdy,I created this blog to share what I have been creating in cloth dolls, plush stuffed animals, rag rugs, new contests, recipes and sometimes a free crafting project or idea. So step on in and see all that's happening on my blog.

Working on my Photos
Happy Mothers Day to everyone!!
I have been busy playing around in the wonderful weather we have been having here on the Oregon coast. One of the things I have been playing with is my camera and and photo shop. I have also decided to try my hand at selling some of my photos in my store It's Just Frankly Kute on Etsy.
I just love playing with the overlays and creating some different stuff with my pictures. I just could not stand it and thought I show off a bit of my work!

A Painting Frenzy Friday I will go projects I have been finishing up on for my Store
This week I just have been in worst painting frenzy! I love doing the hand painted plates so much that I have also these cute ceramic dispensers to paint and some bowls to paint. I know.... I should be working on mother's day projects and I will.. I will it's just sometimes the love for Halloween comes out at the strangest time. Thus the reason for the Frankenstein soap dispenser and the black cat hand painted plate. But 2 of the projects are not about Halloween rather one is a hand painted bowl with the nursery story of Little Bo Peep and the other bowl is for inspiring ourselves to never give up! I took a quote from one my most favorite LDS members and hand painted a sweet picture to go with it. Everything was painted by hand using no patterns just my ability to draw a little. I love using my oil based acrylics! I just love the brightness while painting with them. I am also baking everything in the oven also makes the paint brighter. Baking in my oven is how I seal my painted plates I finding the more paint I need to use then the longer the plate needs to bake at 250 degrees, for instance the black cat had to bake a good hour because I used several coats of paint for the cat and the pumpkins. This is only a few of the many I have finished this week and what I am working on for Friday!

JoJo is Turning a Year old April 30th
Gosh! its hard to believe a whole year has gone by and my little princess is going to be a year old! I love that I am a grandmother I love my little princess so much she has over come so much in little life so far, there will one big hurdle another operation in a year or two for plastic surgery on the burns that are on her arm and back. I hope the kids she meets when school comes are not cruel to her and instead have compassion over the burn scars. I pray often for her and ask for many blessings. I just had to share the Easter ones of us out doors on the Easter egg hunt in Astoria Oregon, I loved the pretty little dress and the way mommy had done her hair up. It was a beautiful day for an Easter egg hunt and yes I will be sharing pictures of her birthday with you all. Time marches so fast now....
